1. Acceptance of these terms

By using ClipDowns ("the Service") you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What the Service does

ClipDowns provides browser-based tools that let you save publicly available Instagram content (videos, Reels, photos, audio, profile pictures, stories, highlights and captions) to your own device for personal use. ClipDowns does not host, store or index any Instagram content on its servers.

ClipDowns is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. "Instagram" is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc., used here only to describe compatibility.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. In particular, you agree that you will:

  • download only content that is publicly available and that you have the right to save — your own posts, content you have permission to use, or content whose licence allows personal copies;
  • respect the intellectual-property rights of creators — do not re-upload, resell or claim other people's work as your own;
  • comply with Instagram's own terms as they apply to you, and with the laws of your country;
  • not use the Service to harass, stalk or violate the privacy of any person;
  • not access the Service with automated tools, bulk scrapers or scripts that place unreasonable load on it.

Content you download is for personal, non-commercial use. Any other use may require permission from the copyright owner, and obtaining that permission is your responsibility.

4. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", free of charge, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or compatible with every link — Instagram changes frequently, and a tool that works today may need updating tomorrow.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClipDowns and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any claim relating to content you chose to download or how you used it afterwards.

7. Changes and termination

We may update these terms or change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. The current version of the terms is always the one published on this page, with the date of the latest revision shown at the top. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
